For reservations a valid charge card suffices in most cases. In some instances a deposit may be required as follows: 100% for one-night stays, 50% (maximum) for longer stays or multiple rooms. Major credit cards, personal checks and money orders are accepted. If time allows reservations will be confirmed by mail or e-mail.  All reservations, confirmed or unconfirmed, are subject to restrictions and conditions as described in these policies.  Check-in-time: 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.: Reserved room(s) will be held available until 6:00 p.m. the scheduled arrival date, unless we have been notified of your arrival later than 6:00 p.m. Please give us a call at 207-655-7586 if you’re on your way but can’t make it on time; much appreciated.

Cancellation is allowed up to one week prior to arrival with a full refund of all prepayments minus a $20 per room cancellation fee; in all other cases the full amount is due for the entire reservation period and will be charged. There is no refund for cutting short the reserved period or for premature checkouts. The cancellation period for multiple room/multiple night reservations may differ; you will be notified at the time of the reservation.

Take note: In case of an unconfirmed late arrival we are allowed to re-rent the rooms as we see fit but are under no obligation to do so. If reserved rooms are not re-rented, the party that holds the reservation will be charged for the full amount, forfeiting any down payment and other disputes regarding that reservation.

Full payment due at arrival:  the total cost of your stay including the Maine lodging tax and minus any prepayments, is due at check-in; any additional costs accrued during your stay will be charged at or after check-out. Pay with charge card, personal check or cash, however, we have the right to refuse cash payments or payments with personal checks for any reason at any time. Please, show your confirmation if special price-arrangements have been made.

Check-out-time is 11 a.m.:  All rates are based upon single or double occupancy and are subject to 7% Maine Lodging Tax. Additional persons are charged extra (4 adults max. in double rooms.) Rollaway beds, cots and cribs are also subject to an extra charge.  

Pets: only small dogs may be allowed for short stays in the motel (not in the B&B) but are not allowed in or on the beds or on furniture. There is a $15 charge per pet per night. The penalty for pets of any kind brought into the room without explicit permission is $250.

Non-smoking: Please, all the rooms in the B&B and in the Motel are strictly non-smoking. We do charge a minimum of $25 for smoking violations or, for that matter, for any damages in our facilities and on our premises. Please report damages immediately so we can help you recover the cost with your insurance company.

Your stay is governed by the Maine Hotel Laws. - Policies may change without prior notice.
